IdleHour Stud began its breeding program in 1989 with the purchase of the Cleveland Bay stallion Ramblers Renown and a band of Thoroughbred broodmares with both produce and performance records. The farm's established goal was, and remains today, to produce both partbred and purebred Cleveland Bay sport horses. In 1994, IdleHour imported purebred fillies and the young stallion Ramblers Richard Lionheart, thus completing the basis for the Stud's bloodstock. The horses resulting from this breeding program can be found throughout North America excelling in dressage, driving, combined training, and fox hunting. Ramblers Renown - Renown is a winning eventer, dressage, jumper, and hunter trial competitor; and, winner of the 1998 Purebred Cleveland Bay Performance Award. PROVEN PRODUCER: He has sired foxhunters, combined driving, dressage, and event horses throughout the U.S. and Canada. He consistently stamps his get with his kind disposition, movement and jumping ability. IDLEHOUR FOXTROT, the Renown daughter who was Canadian Sport Horse Grand Performance Champion/British Columbia's Breeders Classic. Out of 242 entries and winner of the 1998 Partbred Cleveland Bay Performance Award. Foxtrot now is successfully competing in dressage and driving.

IDLEHOUR McHENRY is competing successfully at 4th level and received the American Warmblood Horse of the Year award.

IDLEHOUR 3M, also a Ramblers Renown daughter, has been Cleveland Bay Hunter Champion at the Warrenton Horse Show in both 2001 and 2002, and at the Upperville Horse Show in 2003.
